At Capoferrato Camping Village, children are free to run around, make new friends and enjoy the simple pleasures of the great outdoors! Our campsite is compact, well-kept and safe, offering a warm welcome for families and a place for children to explore, have fun and enjoy the beach.

The small size makes the campsite perfect for children, offering freedom to explore in safety and with everything close at hand.

A campsite designed with families in mind

Our location, in the southern part of Costa Rei, is ideal for those travelling with children, thanks to the soft, fine sand on the beach, shallow water, quiet atmosphere and amenities nearby. “The kids love it here, so we’re happy too!” – it’s something our parents often tell us, and for us, it’s a daily commitment.

Kids Club in July and August

Our activities for younger guests are entrusted to our attentive, trained staff, who offer a balanced, creative programme at a child-friendly pace.

For children aged 5 and over (or younger if accompanied by a parent):

  • Afternoon (3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.) → creative workshops and group activities in the kids club area
  • Evening (9:30 p.m.) → kids disco
  • Morning (10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.) → games on the beach

Activities and experiences for families: natural, fun and creative

Throughout the season, we offer activities designed for children to learn, explore, get creative and enjoy the natural surroundings. In spring and autumn, the campsite is the perfect place to enjoy the Sardinian Weeks, a programme dedicated to the local culture and the environment.

  • Nature walks

    Guided walks to explore the Mediterranean shrubland and the coast, learning to recognise plants and animal tracks and find out more about the sea.

  • Creative and craft workshops

    Pottery, candles, fans and objects made from natural materials: hands-on activities that introduce children to Sardinian crafts and traditions.

  • Encounters with local producers and craftsmen

  • Games and activities

    Treasure hunts, kite flying, sandcastle competitions, short hikes and the chance to explore in and around the campsite

  • Environmental Education

    Activities to learn how to respect the sea, dunes and coastal flora, and to find out more about biodiversity and the protection of the Caretta caretta turtle nests.

  • Activities for families to enjoy together

    Many of the experiences are designed for parents and children to share: walks, workshops, meetings with producers and simple moments set to become precious memories.

A perfect beach for children

The beach opposite the campsite is one of our main strengths: fine white sand, a crystal-clear sea and shallow water, with a gradually sloping seabed, perfect for kids to play in safely.

  • Paediatrician available for home visits
  • Tourist medical service (July and August, approx. 3 km)
  • Hospital 25 minutes from the campsite
  • Multilingual reception: our Reception staff speak German, English and French

Recommended Times

  • April, May, September and October → pleasant climate, campsite is quiet
  • End of June-August → high season, Kids Club
